An entire jazz fusion funk library LP inspired by the Walt Disney classic "The Jungle Book" composed by an undisputed master, Nino Nardini. Do I really need to say much more? Funky. Mellow. Creepy. Mysterious. Samples and breaks. Enough.

Check these extremely heavy funk breaks from an original 1975 Phillipines pressing of an album that seems to have many different re-presses. Check all the versions here at Discogs.com. Black Buster released numerous LPs and singles in the 70's. Mostly disco-funk style with a heavy latin influence. Even i want aware of all the music they worked on until I did some research. I only posted up the two for a taste. "Old Man" has been on a few comps and "Bump the Bump" was released as a 45. Rest assured the rest of the LP is just as serious. Enjoy...

Ive had this for a while and I see it now every time I go back to Australia. Don Burrows is one funky, jazzy, Aussie. But he 'connected' with a few others here like George Golla and Frank Gibson. I have a few LPs of his but this is the best break on all of 'em. Puttin' it up cuz I just came back from down under where I spent more money on even doper shit that i'll post up later on.

Some treats from my recent visit to Disco Sete in Sao Paulo. The B side to a funky ass 45 by Di Melo on the prestigious Odeon label. I recognized the sample that was used on the classic NASA album the homie Zegon gave me a rare Double, color vinyl press of. Good Lookin out!

Also, The Ultra quintessential brazilan afro funk joint from Uniao Black. They only released 2 albums. One in 1977 and one in 2006. Can you believe they are both equally dope and both are excellent sound quality recordings. Buy em' if you see 'em.

Library music collectors should know 'wusup with this gem. Esteemed Italian composer of lounge, library and film music Regimio Ducros delivers an "American" themed LP. Although it seems like it tries to hard to find the soul and blues of the 70's delta funk it does contain some crazy joints. I gave you two and held back the illest one so do your diggin' to find it. It's worth it. Not a lot of stuff to chop for samples but if you like well recorded, high quality instrumental funk....grab this rare LP. Not too much else is really known about the composer aside from a few documented and pressed recordings but if you know more...hit me up. He got that Fownk!

MOTM It's the holidays, so in a few words: Three talented DJs go to the end. Yonny, P and M Squared. Another below average set from K Sly finally gets her elimintated. DJ P's records blow off the turntables while performing on a boat in the uber corny "Yacht Challenge". Amber Rose embarrases all of humanity once again by opening her trap. Just Blaze went for the Fonzworth Bentley look. Another rented crowd. More beats by Dre product placement . Super-Cheesy on screen graphics featuting the "throttle" meter that was supposedly controled by the level of excitement in the crowd....WOW. Looking forward to the final! Congrats to the worthy competitors.
